SUGGESTIONS FOR THE GOOD OF THE CHAPTER
- The lovely African Impatiens basket, brought by Joyce Snapp, was won by Penny Page.
- Cindy Bose wondered if anyone could bring Betty Knisler to the salad social for her. Tarah will pick her up and bring her to the social.
- Susie Beerer asked about summer hikes and whether we would like to do that again.
- Jill Dirks thanked the Chapter for making it possible to attend State Convention.
- Sue Queen thanked the Chapter for being a great group of women in her life; tonight was her one-year initiation anniversary.
ON A PERSONAL NOTE
- Anne Stuart heard from several sisters who are out of town or had conflicts this evening.
- Clare Alsko phoned Linda Lambrecht when she was visiting Hilton Head. Linda has closed on her new home, and she indicated how supported she felt by those keeping in touch with her. In spite of Lou Gehrig’s disease and leukemia, Linda’s spirit is so upbeat. Clare will apprise us of her new address and double-check her email. Jill Anderson had dined with her, and she, too, is amazed at how positive she is.
- Pam Renney and Jill Dirks have both had cataract surgery.
- Dianne Sievers shared that her nephew wedded last weekend. She also wondered if anyone had a gentle way to coax foxes to leave their yard.
- Susie Beerer shared that their house is up for sale.
- Jill Anderson shared that Ingrid’s ceramics will be in the Student Art League show on Sunday, as will be Mary Jo Nelson’s. The show is in Denver.
- Marty Unger reminded us of the upcoming Evergreen Rodeo; granddaughter Lisi will be mutton-bustin’ this year.
