The date has been announced for the Romp to Stomp -- a snowshoe walk to raise money for breast cancer research. It will be on March 2 at the Frisco Nordic Center. My husband and I participated last year and had a wonderful time. We thought it would be fun to have a PEO team. The following is the link that provides more information:

I have committed to knit a hat for everyone on our team. Yes, that includes BILs and kids. Last year there were many men in pink skirts, hats, capes, you name it as well as kids of all ages. Some were in backpacks and being pulled in sleds. I've knitted 10 hats so far to get ahead of the game and when we get a count if necessary I'll knit more.
The color isn't quite right -- it's a dark pink -- but you get the idea. Please let me know if you're interested. We need a fun name for our team as well. You can be a virtual member of the team (pay the fee but not walk) but only snowshoers will get a hat.
