Harvest Boutique Committee Update:
- Dianne
Sievers brought items for sale and “forgotten” items, and she thanked the
entire Chapter and particularly the committee members for all of their help. She
also shared some of the ideas from the committee’s follow-up meeting,
graciously hosted by Mary Michele Beaty.
- In
an effort to encourage greater attendance, especially from outside the Chapter,
we will hold our Boutique on a Saturday next year.
- The
Buy It Now seemed to go well. However, we want to limit the number of
“multiples” to four.
- We
will, in an attempt to streamline the checkout process and keep the noise to a
minimum, we will do checkout downstairs, and we will serve food in the dining
room.
- We
will do only the silent auction and Buy It Now.
Sondra Inman made a suggestion that we pair up with an
artist such as we did with the birdhouse this year.
On a personal note:
- Deborah Linke thanked people for their help with
sewing kits for their trip to Uganda.
- Brenna Vaughn echoed those sentiments; they were
able to touch the lives of over 250 people.
- Sondra Inman reports that Keys on the Green has a
special running on Sunday
